Divine Dobermans is a small Private Kennel focused on producing excellence, with a keen appreciation of the AKC Doberman Breed Standard’s request for: “ ... A dog that is of medium size, with a body that is square. Compactly built, muscular and powerful, for great endurance and speed. Elegant in appearance, of proud carriage, reflecting great nobility and temperament. Energetic, Watchful, Determined, Alert, Fearless, Loyal and Obedient. " For us, the Doberman must be the total package, both structurally and temperamentally … and nothing less than excellent will suffice. If asked for a brief description of myself, I am defined by my love of family, my unquenchable thirst for knowledge and my fierce desire for excellence, which fuels my competitive fire. My devotion to family comes first and foremost; the passion for Dobermans is a natural outgrowth of that love. For as far back as I can remember, I have had a passion for dogs, most especially for Dobermans. Through the years, family commitments took precedence over the dogs, but I was still able to attend shows, speak with knowledgeable breeders and read everything I could get my hands on, to educate myself about Dobermans, breeding lines and all other aspects of owning, breeding and showing. My goal is to produce generations of consistency and competitive dogs... Dobermans with superb conformation, great temperaments and good health, who embody all of the wonderful and unique attributes of this amazing breed. I believe strongly that we are all stewards of the Doberman Breed. It is my honor and duty to give back and I embrace that responsibility with enthusiasm, passion and commitment. |
